It has a large mild steel guard and a stabilized maple handle with stainless pins. It comes with a custom fit heavy duty leather sheath that has been hand tooled and hand stitched with strong waxed thread and has a tie down strap. This is the perfect knife for the man (or woman) that likes a BIG knife.
